I have been changing and adding a few bits to my bike for some time, mainly to suit it to me and also because there are a few adventures I would like to take it on. So because of this I have decided that it would be a good idea to get a bash plate!
I only intend on doing gravel roads and some very light trails but I dont want to ruin those lovely looking exhausts!
Luckily I know someone who is an engineer and he can make all sorts of stuff. He has agreed to make me a bash plate similar to the one in the picture above and I am so excited to see what its going to be like! I took the bike for a cardboard mock up fitting on Friday and the mock up fitted great. He is now in the process of making it, it will be made out of stainless steel and I cant wait to see it fitted to the bike!
